As part of our technology capabilities, one of our key services is helping businesses modernise their systems and take advantage of the latest technologies. In today’s rapidly changing landscape, cloud computing is increasingly becoming a key enabler of digital transformation, and Microsoft Azure is one of the most popular cloud platforms available.
Recently, we had the opportunity to work with Australian Gas & Lighting (AGL), a utility company looking to uplift their on-premise systems to the cloud. AGL wanted to take advantage of the scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness that cloud computing offers, but they were unsure of how to make the transition whilst maintaining high availability & continuous functionality.
Our team jumped at the opportunity to help with their journey to the cloud. We started by conducting a thorough analysis of their existing systems, as well as their requirements, to get a better understanding of what they needed.
We then worked with AGL to plan and execute the transition to Azure. This involved a significant amount of preparation, including configuring the Azure environment, migrating existing data and applications, and testing to ensure everything was working as expected.
To achieve this, we employed a phased approach, migrating one system at a time, and carefully testing and verifying each step before proceeding. This allowed us to identify and resolve any issues before they became a problem, and ensured a seamless transition.
